The Blue Ridge forests of Wintergreen, by virtue of their rugged coves, deep stream carved gorges and precipitous rock faces host some of our greatest remaining natural ecosystems. An abundance of tree diversity, ancient wildflower gardens, relict fern beds, and scenic vistas provide diverse and colorful backdrops in the window of warm spring sunlight. There is no better time or place to celebrate the beauty of these natural wonders than in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains in May. The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen’s Spring Wildflower Symposium welcomes all those who love all aspects of nature as we hike, bird watch, learn about the wildflowers and how to grow them, and explore geology with instructors whose work helps us better understand, appreciate, and protect our natural heritage. This year’s Symposium features a line-up of highly esteemed presenters, please click to download the brochure with all the information on programs and registration details ~
