Native Plant Nurseries

Sustainably produced perennials from the Mid-Atlantic and South-East US ecoregions. Our focus is on providing a diverse, pesticide free selection of local species suited for gardens and gardeners of all types. Retail sales at pop-up events, or online with local pick up or delivery options. We also offer ecological landscape design and land management services in the Richmond, Va. area. Variety of sources for propagation, with a focus on growing local eco-type seeds. Seed-production largely from Mid-Atlantic or South-Eastern US, some species progeny are unknown, or originally from Minnesota (Prairie Moon). Bare-root or cuttings sourced largely from Mid-Atlantic region; some species progeny varies due to low availability of local genetic stock. We plan to phase out stock from outside our ecoregion in the future, as local seed becomes more sustainably available and we increase our seed production capabilities. Regardless of propagation type, all plant material sourced is confirmed to be pesticide free from the start, and we prioritize local, organic growers when possible.
