Please join us for a talk by Betsy Martin and Alda Krinsman, who will present on the Audubon at Home program. The Audubon at Home program aims to create and enhance wildlife habitat in private, suburban yards as well as public properties in four Northern Virginia counties: Arlington/Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William.

Creating wildlife habitat necessarily involves planting native plants, so goals of the Audubon at Home program naturally align with the aims of the Virginia Native Plant Society. Donna Murphy, a longtime VNPS and FMN member and a new ambassador, can affirm that her knowledge and experience with native plants is a real advantage in advising homeowners on native plantings and other habitat improvements to certify properties as Wildlife Sanctuaries.
