The second annual Williamsburg Regional Library Fall Plant Share will gather again gardeners, plant enthusiasts, plant experts and the John Clayton Chapter will participate. This year the event will take place at the James City County Library. Tracy Melton, president of the Historic Rivers Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalists, will discuss “Replacing Non-Native Plants-How You Can Help Preserve Nature and Wildlife.”
And once again there will be plant-related information tables and native plant and seed giveaways.
Donations of plants are accepted on Sunday, October 25, 1–2:30 pm at the James City County Library Parking Lot. If you have extra (neatly potted and labelled) outdoor plants to share, please drop them off at the plant donation table in the parking lot.
Let your friends know and join us to learn more about native and non-native plants, visit information tables where you can talk with other plant enthusiasts, and pick up FREE native plants and seeds.
