Join us this year again to select new additions to your garden from a wide range of Virginia native plants. The plant sale is also an excellent opportunity to learn more about native plants from experts in the field, to connect with like-minded enthusiasts and to have a good time. Check here often for updates as we are putting together all aspects of the sale.
There are plenty of volunteer opportunities starting now through the day of the sale. To find out more, send an email to Cathy Flanagan. Get your name on the list and you’ll start receiving information and regular updates from us.
Potting gatherings/parties are a fun way to dig out, transplant and prepare pots for the sale. They are scheduled for Sundays, 1:30 pm on March 17 and 24, April 7 and 14; Wednesdays, 1:30 pm on April 10 and 17. To find out more, email Cathy at the above address.
Each year proceeds from the sale support our efforts to conserve and create native plant habitats, fund Nature Camp scholarships for school-age children from our area, develop or renovate native plant gardens and educate the general community through free lectures and plant walks.
