Join us for a wildflower walk at Lake Accotink Park on Friday, April 17 led by Su Jewell, Certified Wildlife Biologist® and environmental author.

This nearly 500-acre park is a surprising retreat in the middle of crowded Fairfax County. We will walk along the lake shore, partly on and partly off the main trail, all natural surface (about 2 miles total). We’ll walk by an active eagle nest that is visible from the trail, depending on leaf-out, and turn around at the native pinxter azaleas. We’ll find a variety of native plants.

Meet at the main parking lot just off Lake Accotink Road (not at the Park Office).

Registration is required and space is limited.
