Even those of you who made it to Turkey Run for its wonderful display of spring ephemerals may find Fraser Preserve’s different plant palette of interest.
We’ll look for spring cress and yellow corydalis along with bluebells and spring beauties and more as we walk down and up hills on Fraser’s gravel road and natural surface trails, possibly traveling as much as 3 miles.
Park on Allenwood and gather at the corner of Allenwood and Springvale. Bring water, expect some mud, consider bringing a walking stick and anything else you need to feel comfortable in the woods (snacks, sunblock, insect repellent, binoculars…) There are no restrooms available to us at Fraser. Please, no dogs. Limited to 15 participants.
