New River Chapter Virginia Native Plant Society May meeting

One of our members, Brenda Graff, will be speaking about vernal pools, which are unique wildlife and native plant habitats that only occur part of the year.  They are best known for the amphibians and invertebrate animals that use them to breed.  Meetings are held at the Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Center, 725 Patrick Henry Drive, Blacksburg, VA. Meetings will be held both in person and by Zoom.  Zoom contact information will be given shortly before the meeting dates.
