Nicola McGoff is the project manager for Wild Ginger Field Services, a small ecological consulting company based in Charlottesville. Her general aim with any project is to understand what the client wants from the site and what the site naturally wants to be itself. Nicola has a diverse background in plant ecology from Shenandoah National Park; wetland and riparian science from The Nature Conservancy; stormwater infrastructure and native plants from Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District; and landscape design, land use management, and invasive species management from her time running Wild Ginger Field Services. She is a Professional Wetland Scientist and has obtained Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP) Certification, both level 1 and level 2.
