Janet Davis, known as the cheerleader for native plants, founded Hill House Nursery 20 years ago, focusing on plants native to the mid-Atlantic region. She spends her time hiking, walking, singing in the choir, gardening, and giving lots of lectures about native plants, biodiversity, and how to hopefully create a healthier and happier world. In this presentation she will help us differentiate native grasses, sedges and rushes.
Janet earned her BS degree in Horticulture from Virginia Tech and is a proud Hokie! So maybe it is good that this is a Zoom meeting.
