Wilderness Survival at False Cape State Park Sunday, November 5, 2017 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. with Vickie Shufer & Evan Rhodes. Develop basic survival skills while hiking and exploring the maritime forest, dunes, and marshes at False Cape State Park. Join us on this journey to False Cape State Park to explore the wilderness of Virginia Beach and learn basic survival skills. Bring a lunch or snack and water. We will be hiking from the marshes through the forest, over the dunes, and to the beach looking for tracks, identifying edible and medicinal plants, and tasting samples of wild foods.  Space is limited – registration is required.
