Jefferson Chapter Potting Party

We’ll be potting up 550 ordered plugs and 900 ordered bare roots, over half the plants offered at our annual sale. We will have the usual Blue Bells, May Apple, Toadshade Trillium, and Wild Geranium bareroots.  Less frequently offered Dutchman’s Breeches, Jack-in-the-pulpit, and Bellwort (U. perfoliata) bareroot also await our potting.  Plugs to be potted include Butterfly Weed, Heart-leaved aster, Turtle head, Lance-leaved Coreopsis, Narrow-leaved Mountain Mint, Downy Skullcap, Wild Stonecrop, Blue-stem Goldenrod, and Seersucker as well as Blue Wood Sedge.

As usual all needed potting soil, pot and trays will be provided.

• If you have 4″ square or round pots you would like to recycle, please bring them
•  We will not be potting donated additional plants so please don’t bring or drop off
