What a GREAT Jefferson Chapter Plant Sale!

This past Sunday, April 26 at Ivy Creek Natural Area in Charlottesville, the Jefferson Chapter hosted our annual fun and successful annual plant sale. A gentle rain the night before and overcast skies meant the plants were perky, and we had a good crowd with excellent plant selection, ample parking and smooth checkout.

Big thanks to all of the cheerful volunteers who helped customers in every way from plant info, to cashiering and helping shuttle plants to cars, not to mention the behind the scenes work of set up and breakdown. And the parking team gets special credit for keeping spaces available the whole time!

 Phil Stokes is a gold star winner for organizing this gigantic event for the chapter.
