Ellen, Rebecca and Linda will “lead” a socially-distanced walk on this favorite hillside of spring ephemerals in Roanoke County. They will post ahead of time a series of flags along Pawpaw Trail and a handout will offer information about the flowers near each flag.
It’s a Covid-era experiment!
You might want to come early and have a picnic by the river with others from your pod. It might be muddy, so wear appropriate shoes. A field guide would be helpful.
Rain date! In case of a hard rain we will postpone the walk till Wednesday, April 14, same time and place
Meet: Sign in at the picnic pavilion at the end of the road in Green Hill Park. You may head up the trail any time between 1:00 and 3:00. Leaders will be on site until 4:00.
