Gary Fleming, Vegetation Ecologist with the Virginia Natural Heritage program, will present a program featuring the nature of Virginia’s flora by taking us on a visual trip through the physiographic provinces of Virginia. Gary will show us what plant communities are found in these areas of the state. We will learn why plants grow where they do. Gary is a fantastic photographer. Many of his photos are in the Flora of Virginia. This should be one of the premier programs we have this year.
