Please come to our Chapter Meeting: “Floral and Wildlife Art of the Blue Ridge and Beyond,” Clay Sculpture by Lou Greiner, Past President of the Blue Ridge Wildflower Society. A passion for flowers and small wildlife has led to interesting adventures when she worked to capture a part of nature in clay. Lou majored in sculpture at VCU and worked in many mediums. She still prefers clay and miniature scale. Lou has exhibited in miniature and wildlife shows on the East Coast and some out. Her work can be found in permanent collection at the Virginia Natural History Museum and the Smithsonian’s Natural History Museum. Come hear the stories behind the art and see a few on site. Public welcome as always.
Meet: 7:00 pm, Roanoke Council of Garden Clubs, 3640 Colonial Avenue, Roanoke Contact: Ellen Holtman, 389-1514
