Toni will lead us to a botanical treasure which features a nice board walk, waterfalls and lots of late summer flowers. Some of the flowers featured will be cardinal flower, monkey flower, bull rush, meadow beauty, goldenrod, lots of sedges and other wetland flora.

Walking will be on the board walk and a short jaunt along a mountain stream featuring a nice waterfall. The walking will be shortly over a mile in length and is rated as easy. Some of the walking is in woods, but some is in the open.

Bring walking shoes, rain gear, hat, water and bug juice. There is a nice picnic area so bring lunch.
