Matt Brooks, chapter president, will lead our September field trip on Sunday, September 25 at 10:00 at Poor Farm Park in Ashland.
This is a bluff forest over Stagg Creek, a tributary, and adjacent wetlands. There is also an adjacent utility right-of-way we will try to access for some late-summer composite flowers.
Natural Heritage botanist (and chapter member) Joey Thompson recommended this area, so it’s probably pretty cool. This will be my first time there.
