The Central Shenandoah Valley Master Gardener Association is proud to announce the first Central Shenandoah Valley Garden Symposium: “Going Native”! Our featured speaker, Doug Tallamy, will be presenting two sessions. Ian Caton of Wood Thrush Native Plant Nursery and Jim Hurley of Blue Ridge Prism will round out the event. The symposium promises to provide a fun and informative focus on the important role native plants have in our landscapes, dealing with invasive species, and maximizing the use of native plants.

The symposium will also offer an opportunity for sponsors, vendors, and non-profit organizations to set-up displays, sell items, and engage with enthusiastic gardening, birding, and conservationist enthusiasts!

Registration is required for both the general public and sponsors/vendors/non-profit organizations. Seating is limited, so register early! Registration is $65 for the general public and includes lunch. Sponsors and vendors can register across three levels, ranging from $100 to $350. Registration for non-profit organizations $25. Please see the Registration links below for additional event information and details, and registration instructions and forms.
