Gate Opens 10 AM – Tour Begins 10:30 AM

On October 2nd, 2016 internationally-acclaimed sculptor Patrick Dougherty began installation on Villa Tempesta, a brand-new site-specific work for the Hermitage Museum & Gardens. Over three weeks, Dougherty led and worked alongside a group of volunteers to create a large-scale structure made entirely of saplings.  In August 2017, Yolima Carr invited our chapter to view this amazing exhibit along with the Burning Man.  Now it is time to say good-bye to Villa Tempesta. The Stickwork exhibit will be dismantled in November.  Join us on Sunday, September 30th to view the exhibit again and enjoy the beautiful gardens at The Hermitage, 7637 North Shore Road, Norfolk.   The gate will be open at 10 AM.  Our tour personally led by Yolima, will start at 10:30.  Please RSVP to Kathleen at 757-486-5485 or stasulisss@hotmail.com.

This is a free event, for members and their guests only.
