Marie’s BIO: It may be hard to believe, but Marie Mims Butler has been gardening for over 47 of her 29 years. Her horticultural career launched at NC State and has included teaching at the school for the blind, designing commercial landscapes, studying and teaching floral design in Japan, and presiding over the gardens of the Virginia Zoo as Landscape Coordinator. These days, Marie travels the country with the GWA: The Association for Garden Communicators and shares her love of horticulture everyone. You are welcome to join Marie in laughter and learning.
