Fred Crabtree Park

Fred Crabtree Park  is one of the large district parks in the Fairfax County Park system.  There are over one hundred acres of natural land.  Little Difficult Run runs through the park providing scenic view from the hillside.  Jan has identified over 150 flowing plants in the park, including four species of lycopods and seven species of evergeen trees.  We should see lots of partridgeberry (Mitchella repens), ferns, and bushes with green leaves or stems.
