Nature journaling is a fun and relaxing way to get to know our native plants better.
We will at the Mustang Trailhead Horse Trailer Parking area near the intersection of Gunston Rd and Harly Rd, and will walk along the forest edge, open fields, and pond habitats. Hopefully there will be a lot of variety available at that location and some good material for journaling.
Jen Brown, Potowmack Chapter Secretary, will host the program. In addition to helping with the chapter, Jen also leads botanical drawing programs for Nature Forward and has completed a certificate in botanical illustration.
