SUMMARY:Living with the Tide: Plant Community Patterns along Little Hunti
 ng Creek [via Zoom]
DESCRIPTION:Join Vegetation Ecologist Nelson DeBarros via Zoom to learn how
daily tides shape a mosaic of marshes\, shrub thickets\, and forested swa
mps as he presents findings from a 2024-2025 vegetation survey along Littl
e Hunting Creek.\n\nUsing mapped community types\, photo points\, and site
notes\, Nelson will highlight how these habitats differ and which plant s
pecies you’re most likely to encounter in each—plus a few rarities tha
t make this corridor ecologically significant.  Whether you’re a natura
 list\, paddler\, or neighbor\, you’ll come away with a clearer picture o
f plants at the water’s edge.\n\nView more information about Little Hunt
