This event was cancelled due to rain.

Join Botanist Sarah Chamberlain for an expert’s eye view of the grasses, sedges, and other flora in the woods at Riverbend Park. Grasses likely to be in flower include deer-tongue grass (Dichanthelium clandestinum), bottle-brush grass (Elymus hystrix) and nodding fescue (Festuca subverticillata), and we’ll get the added benefit of the forbs also in bloom in Riverbend’s rich riverine ecosystem. This is an easy walk, but come prepared for warm temperatures and to minimize tick exposure.
