  woodland in Aldie with Dr. Emily Southgate.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmily Southgate 
 will lead this walk in a habitat that we usually do not see—early succes
 sional woodland\, i.e.\, what would happen if you stopped mowing or bush-h
 ogging your field. The mix of scattered trees and shrubs provides an ideal
  habitat for some very showy late summer flowers.\n\nThe walk will be a ma
 ximum of 2 miles on easy terrain and mowed grass trails.\n\nAs per usual
 —bring your hat\, sunscreen\, water bottle\, and walking sticks too if t
