And that&#8217;s where you come in. We could not have done it without all the dedicated and talented volunteers who made it the success it was. Won&#8217;t you consider helping out this year? Please <a href=\"mailto:shadedperennial@gmail.com\">send an email to me<\/a> if you are interested!<\/p>\r\n<p>Let me know if you&#8217;d like to contribute in any of the following ways:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Pot up native seedlings and divisions from your yard<\/li>\r\n<li>Make pot tags &#8211; some skill with MS Word &amp; a laser printer (toner not ink) but also easy work that can be done in front of the TV<\/li>\r\n<li>Pot up plugs that we buy<\/li>\r\n<li>Plant-sit over the summer &#8211; in an area protected from deer and rabbits<\/li>\r\n<li>Make information sheets &#8211; interest in researching and learning about plants and copying and pasting info from internet sources onto a template<\/li>\r\n<li>Make decorative signs<\/li>\r\n<li>Help setting up the day before and helping the day of the sale &#8211; moving pots and\/or interacting with customers<\/li>\r\n<li>Whatever is needed<\/li>\r\n<li>Want to help out but short on time?You can sponsor \u00bd or full tray of plugs, or fund a bag or bags of soil (this year we are using a sustainable potting soil rather than a peat-based mix)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A message from Carol Schwobel: We are ready to send out the grant applications for youth native plant gardens, but we are also starting to plan for the next sale in fall 2021!
