Thank you to everyone who made the 2020 plant<\/span> sale<\/span> a success! Our final tally was an incredible<\/b><\/p>\n

$4,208.32!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Please forgive me if I have omitted anyone! There were so many people who worked hard to make this happen.<\/p>\n

First, thank you to Ann Raridon, President of Sustainable Blacksburg with the Town of Blacksburg (TOB), and Jackie Brown, Former Assistant Director of SEEDS Blacksburg Nature Center; the fall sale<\/span> would not have even gotten off the ground without their constant support, especially with TOB publicity and technical expertise. Thanks to Brenda Graff, President of our New River Chapter and Nicole Hersch, Board member, who helped with advice, decision-making and guidance thru the entire process.<\/p>\n

Thank you to the plug sponsors: Brenda, Nicole, Pat Polentz, Lisa Lloyd, Rosemarie Sawdon, and David Orcutt; to Nicole who provided the potting soil and coordinated the potting party; and the potters: Lisa, Rosemarie, Brenda, Barb Glaser, Barbara Kafka, and Suzie Leslie; to Lorie Morrey who snagged the mother lode of pots; to those who tended the plants<\/span> over the summer: Nicole, Barb, and Melissa West; and to those who provided additional plants<\/span>: Brenda, Nicole, Pat, Barb, Su Clausen, Barbara Walker, Beth Umberger, Patrick Shea, Bill Sydor, and Gwen Douglas.<\/p>\n

Thank you to the crew who braved the rain and got soaked Friday and who cheerfully showed up early the next day to set up, work the sale<\/span>, and tear everything down: Suzie, Rosemarie, Barb, Pat, Patrick, Barbara K., Ann, Jackie, Ellen Bosman and others; to those who provided a myriad of supplies and props: Nicole, Ann, Jackie, Suzie, Brenda, and others; to Nicole, who\u2019s electronic magic got us our PayPal account; and to Gwen for the beautiful hand-painted signs.<\/p>\n

And not least of all, THANK YOU to all of you who purchased our plants<\/span>!<\/b> <\/b><\/p>\n

Together we made this an enormous success!<\/b><\/p>\n
