David Bellangue will be speaking about Native Plant Seed Propagation!   David is 2nd-year Master’s student in Crop and Soil Environmental Science in the School of Plant and Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on the establishment of native wildflowers into tall fescue cattle pastures to provide diversified forage for cattle and food for pollinators. The ultimate goal of this research is to develop techniques to allow landowners to establish wildflowers successfully with minimal effort. David grew up in Metro Atlanta and his interests include playing the piano, hiking, cooking, propagating native plants, and reading. The first native plant he grew is wild columbine (Aquilegia canadensis).
