Keep the Flora Alive!

Thanks to generous members like you, VNPS was able to exceed our fundraising goal of $25,000 to help the Flora of Virginia Project develop a firm financial footing to move into the next phase of its existence, and will support the transitions required to keep the Flora vibrant and relevant for years in the future.
The Flora of Virginia has become a standard text for students and a resource for all plant lovers. While the addition of new species and updates to the Flora must continue, we are coming to a time when the original faithful crew is starting to look toward retirement and passing the torch to a new generation.
VNPS has supported the Flora Project from its beginnings in 2012 with the publication of a beautiful hard cover edition, through the development of the Flora Mobile App for Android and Apple iOS devices, and with a significant app content update which is close to completion.
