If given enough moisture, it may re-bloom throughout the summer. If it dries up during the hot summer days, it will reappear come spring of the following year.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The bright yellow 1\u00bc-2\u00bc&#8221; flowers look like buttercups on steroids. In addition to some really great blooms Stylophrum diphyllum also has wonderful foliage and seed pods. The leaves are a bluish green and deeply divided. The individual plants are 1 \u2013 1 \u00bd feet tall and wide. Moist woodland dappled shade is preferred however it will tolerate quite a bit of shade.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">PLEASE NOTE: Greater Celandine (Chelidonium majus), a non-native European\/Asian poppy can be confused with our native wood poppy but has smaller flowers and seeds pods that are long, thin and hairless.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Photos: E.M.
