Tom Saielli is the Regional Science Coordinator for the American Chestnut Foundation. Tom oversees American Chestnut Foundation’s research orchards and planting teams in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Kentucky from his office in Charlottesville. Tom will give an update on efforts to develop and return a blight-resistant, primarily native American Chestnut to forests in this region.
