 \, Charlottesville\n\nJoin us for an Ivy Creek plant walk led by Wanda San
 Jule.   This is a time when many wetland plants such as rose-mallow (a s
 pectacular hibiscus)\, pickerel weed\, button bush\, monkey flower\, arrow
 head\, and arrow arum are usually blooming.  This year might be different
  with the extreme hot\, dry weather but it will be interesting to see how 
 the native plants are handling the drought. We may also find various milkw
 eed and St. John’s-wort species and false foxglove in bloom. Co-sponsors
 :  Jefferson Chapter\, VNPS\, and Ivy Creek Natural Area. \n\nMeet by th
 e Kiosk near the parking lot promptly at 9AM.\n\nDress for the weather and
  insects. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water.\nFree and open to t
 he public.
