Virginia Working Landscapes, (VWL), is a network of partners convened by the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, (SCBI), in Front Royal,  to promote the conservation of native biodiversity and encourage the sustainable use of  working landscapes through research, education and outreach.

The Annual Meeting, postponed from earlier date due to snow, will take place Thursday, April 9:
this will be a great opportunity to network with local landowners, land managers, VWL citizen scientists, natural resource professionals and service providers, as we reflect on our accomplishments in 2014 and plans for 2015.

The meeting will be an open format. VWL will have posters detailing our research and various organizations and service providers will also be set up at tables to share information. The meeting will be in the SMSC dining hall on the SCBI campus. There will be a cash bar and light refreshments will be served.
