Our chapter president, Ellen Holtman, a retired biology teacher, gardens for pollinators in her own yard, as well as at the Salem Museum and in our butterfly garden at the Roanoke Council of Garden Clubs. Ellen’s program will focus on gardening to provide the needs of honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies and other pollinators so that you can keep these beautiful creatures in your garden all summer.
